Núria Penalva and Antoni Rosell, as a contribution to the PALADYN-ERC project, participated in the EN651 scientific expedition in the tropical Atlantic Ocean to collect samples from fires in tropical Africa. The work is a contribution towards understanding the variations in the atmospheric circulation in the past and to predict rain pattern changes in the future.
